Khumbu Climber - 10 April to 7 May '09

Written by Leader Javier Herrera, May 2009

An enthusiastic and clean team meets at Heathrow for the journey to Katmandu, which goes without hitch! There are only 3 team members plus myself. One of the best groups I have had the privilege to lead. Everyone got on so well it was a pleasure to be there and the bonus of course was that we enjoyed perfect conditions which allowed us to summit all our objectives in shorter time than expected

This was again a successful trip for Jagged-Globe with all the summits climbed. For the whole trip we had perfect weather and therefore amazing views across the Himalayas. Our Sidar Ang Dorge and his staff were very helpful and the team enjoyed their company!

Pokalde 5,800m, Island Peak 6,189m and Lobuje East 6.019 were all climbed to the summits in perfect conditions

A happy expedition return to Lukla to celebrate our last night with our support staff by attempting to dance in tune with Nepali folk music.

Good luck in all your future mountain adventures everyone. It was a pleasure to spend the month with you guys. You came as a clients and left as friends.
