Ski tour in the Aladaglar Mountains

Introduction

This new ski touring programme for 2025, gives you the opportunity to visit this most amazing and fascinating country, at the juncture of continents, whilst indulging in your favourite sport - ski touring.

During this fully-packed ski tour of just over a week, you will:

• Ski tour in the Aladaglar Mountains - home to the highest summits of the Taurus.
• Make summit ascents and ski tours of:Mt Hasan 3,268m, Mt. Guzeller 3,461m, Mt. Emler 3,723m, Alaca 3,585m, Demirkazik Pass 3,400m, Mount and Sulucuova, Tekneli Mountains 3,200m.
• Ski tour to Mt. Erciyes 3,916m, the highest summit in Central Anatolia.

Know Before You Go

Jagged Globe supports the British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) 'Know Before You Go' campaign. We recommend that you read the FCDO Travel Advice for Turkey on the FCDO Website.

What the price includes

• All international and domestic flights if joining on a Full-Cost basis.
• Ski carriage on the international and domestic Flight, if reserved and booked in advance*.
• English-Speaking Professional ski guide/ leader, approved and selected by Jagged Globe: Mr. Yildirim Secmen.
• Transport with private vehicles to the places stated in the itinerary; including group airport transfers.
• Hotel/Mountain Hut/Local Village Pensions, rooms on double/twin share basis, Half-Board (HB) service. NB: Half-Board (HB) Dinner Service available until 20:30/21:00 h.
• Eight (8) x breakfast, Seven (7) x packed lunches (or BBQ & local restaurants if appropriate and available), Eight (8) x dinner.
• Aladaglar national park entrance fees.

What the price does not include

• Any/ all international and domestic flights if joining on a land-only basis.
• Travel Insurance.
• Any extra/ additional transport & transfers other than stated in the itinerary or extra arrival/departure transfers not taken with the group as described in the itinerary.
• Any entrance fees for museums or historical, cultural, natural sites and such like.
• Any optional activities.
• Meals other than those stated in the PDF itinerary.
• All soft and alcoholic drinks, bottled water, tea & coffee and the like.
• Any personal expenses.
• Extra nights & single supplements / accommodation upgrades.
• Personal equipment.
• Tips.
• Ski pass in Erciyes.

We can organise this expedition on a ‘tailor-made’ private basis for groups of friends, families, clubs, charities or any other group. Depending on your skiing experience, you may want a Jagged Globe leader or go ‘self-led’ with the assistance of local guides. The cost of going private can be surprisingly reasonable, particularly if you take the self-led option. Please contact us to discuss the itinerary and your preferred dates. We will then send you a quote, with no obligation.

Insurance

You will need a travel insurance policy that caters for the activities you will undertake on your trip with Jagged Globe. It is a requirement of our booking conditions that you have such a policy. Outline Itinerary

Day 1:	Fly from London to Nevsehir, Turkey, via Istanbul. Drive to our guest-house accommodation in Ihlara/Selime.
Day 2:	Ski - Mt Hasan (3,268m) before driving to Taurus Mountains Aladaglar National Park.
Day 3:	Ski - Taurus Mountains Aladaglar National park - Mt. Guzeller (3,461m).
Day 4:	Ski - Taurus Mountains Aladaglar National park - Mt. Emler (3,723m).
Day 5:	Ski - Taurus Mountains Aladaglar National park - Mt. Alaca (3,585m).
Day 6:	Ski - Taurus Mountains Aladaglar National park - Demirkazik Pass (3,400m) - Cimbar Canyon.
Day 7:	Ski - Sulucuova Village & Tekneli Mountains climb up to the 3,200m summit.
Day 8:	Ski - Mt. Erciyes (3.916m) drive to Kayseri City Centre where a Turkish bath is possible.
Day 9:	Transfer to Kayseri Airport and Fly to UK.
